FAQs

What happens in my first appointment?

We will take a detailed case history, and medical history. We will then examine the affect area, and provide treatment if time allows.

Will it hurt?

Some treatment may cause discomfort, though this will be discussed during your appointment. Some people experience stiffness and soreness in the days following their appointment, though this is a normal reaction.

What should I wear?

Depending on the area of pain, during examination you may be asked to remove layers, or dress down to underwear. Bringing a pair of loose shorts and a vest to change into is advised.

Do I need to see my Doctor first?

You do not need a direct referral from your Doctor to make an appointment. You also do not need to be affiliated with the surgeries in which we work.

Can I bring a chaperone?

You are welcome to bring a friend or relative with you.

Children under the age of 16 must have a parent present.

How many appointments will I need?

The number of sessions required depends on the issue. We try to be as upfront as possible in the first few appointments about expected outcomes.
